Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Mount Joy, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Mount Joy is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mount Joy follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Got there late on a weekday after a day spent in Hersheypark. Ordered edamame, shumai, shrimp tempura, sushi & sashimi for two, and a roll. They apologized for being out of miso soup and tuna ahead of the time. Sushi was done properly, even with wasabi and ginger diluted down as an Americanized version. Tempuras looked like the frying oil was a day old, and sashimi pieces were small and some were still frozen. Mightβve been better if we went on a weekend.

Recently ordered takeout lunch with coworkers. Unfortunately my dish was missing the advertised rice (lunch sweet and sour chicken) but luckily I ordered soup too so I won't be starving later (wasn't caught due to the number of items in our order until we were dispersing it at work). Disappointed with the chicken quality as well. Much prefer Cafe East sweet and sour chicken and will pay more for better quality and order accuracy.

I'm very much a sushi snob, and I was quite impressed. The prices are relatively fair for what it is, and the portion of general tsos was quite generous. Via the app, I even got a free crunchy roll. The coconut soup is absolutely to die for. My only suggestion is that they add a bit more filling to the rangoon and more sushi options with masago, roe or tabiko :)

I've been eating here for years, and their food has always remained delicious and high-quality. They're my favorite sushi place in Lancaster County. Their sushi is always minimal rice and maximum fish. There truly isn't a bad menu option. Also, they always package their takeout orders so thoughtfully. They give you individual containers of soy sauce (not just cheap packets), and they give you individual containers of FRESH pickled ginger and wasabi which is wrapped in a leaf so it doesn't touch the ginger. Something about this detail really sets them apart for me.
